A metalsmithing graduate from Skidmore, Prounis launched her line in 2017, just 18 months after graduation, infusing each creation with personal and historical narratives. Rendered in recycled 22-karat gold — chosen by the designer for its unique brilliance and softness (allowing the wearer to imbue it with their own marks), and everyday wearability — pieces draw inspiration from myriad museum artifacts, spanning Greek benches to Germanic vases.
